  • Our German Shepherd is a high-need dog, and I am so glad we found Aloha! We take our anxious pup to Fetch Club once a week, where he participates in small-group enrichment activities that keep him active but not overstimulated. Sarah does amazing work with this daycare option, plus we love getting his report card at the end of the day to see his progress. We also board our dog overnight and appreciate add-on options like daily walks, play time, etc. to keep his brain active throughout the day. Overall, we just really appreciate how much the Aloha team loves and takes care of our pup.

  • We love Aloha! Our dogs have been enjoying all that Aloha has to offer for years. The staff is wonderful! We know that they are loved and cared for while they are there, making it an easy choice for us when we choose Aloha for lodging, fitness club and grooming. Mekka does a great job making sure that our fur babies come out looking and smelling their best!

  • Aloha has been great for Bella Rose. They always accommodate her special needs and are very quick to let us know if something comes up. They’re very responsive to phone calls, texts and e-mail. The facility is always clean and well kept. We utilize doggy daycare, grooming and boarding services and have always been very satisfied. We love Aloha!

Aloha Pet Resort and Spa came to be when I saw a need for high-end care and luxury accommodations for pets. As a Veterinary Technician, I’ve been in the pet industry for over 25 years and see a huge change in what people want for their pets. They want them to be happy, healthy and beautiful. I believe that our pets deserve the best and I have the experience to bring that quality of service to Aloha Pet Resort and Spa. I can’t wait to meet your furry family friend.

My husband, Mark, and I reside in Waterloo with our daughter Brooklyn. I have 2 yorkies, Bean and Max. Before becoming the manager at Aloha, I brought Max in for fitness club and grooming services and have never looked back.  I love Aloha’s unique and customizable options for care throughout the entire facility! I love getting to know all of our guests (both 2 legged and 4 legged!) and working with them to create the best experience for them while they are here.

Ever since I was a kid, I always knew that when I grew up I wanted to be around animals. From being kennel staff at a veterinary hospital, to cremating pets for nearly a year and a half, I found that nothing compares to just how rewarding the pet care industry is. Having people entrust us with their beloved pets is a huge responsibility, and one I am honored to take on! I continually seek further education in the field of dog language and behavior!

At Aloha you can find me up front greeting you and your fury friend, running around in fitness club, and everything in between! I came to Aloha just looking for change and always having a love for animals I felt I would really enjoy it and I have loved every moment since. I will be attending school next spring with a double major in Botany and Business with aspirations of owning my own business someday. When I’m not at Aloha you can find me outside enjoying the world and spending time with my dogs and family. I love being a part of a company that values not only its customers but every single employee they have. Everyday I get to come into work just brings me so much joy!

Being both a dog person and a marketing professional makes working for Aloha the best of both worlds. I enjoy having the opportunity to promote Aloha's amazing services and come up with fun, new ideas for your pets. I currently reside in Cedar Falls with my husband, Joe, and two dogs, and in my free time I enjoy just about any outdoor activity. I'm excited to continue making Aloha a fun place for all of our furry guests to visit!

I’ve always been an animal person since I was a kid. I used to volunteer at the local shelter, always asked my parents for new pets and the zoo was always my number one pick when we went on vacation! I knew I always wanted to work with animals but never knew what the right path for me was. Grooming stood out to me while going to school at Kirkwood Community College. I switched my career to grooming and have been doing it since. I love dogs, they have always been my favorite animals. I have my own dog named Nimbus. He's a 3-year-old Shiba Inu. He definitely keeps me on my toes. I also have a cat named Minx who is the sweetest girl ever. I’m married to my high school sweetheart Mekhi, who I married in June of 2023. I’m so happy I chose Aloha to be my work home. The staff makes you feel so welcome, you can tell we all love the dogs that come in.

I have worked with pets and their parents for almost four years. I have always had an interest in the upkeep of pets before I understood grooming was a career. I remember being six years old and unsuccessfully trying to cut my family's chihuahua's nails with human nail clippers! Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I am passionate about communicating with every pet parent to keep their furry friend as happy as possible. I cannot wait to get to know your pet and provide quality care!

Working with dogs is my passion, and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else! When I moved to the Cedar Valley in 2016, and found grooming, it was like a dream come true. To be able to combine my love of dogs with my passion for creative hairstyling is so incredibly rewarding. I especially live for the puppies! I love being able to watch them grow and grow with them. I am so excited to meet you & your pup, and create a long-lasting relationship with your fur baby!

I am a fitness leader and work lodging shifts at Aloha. I have wanted to work with animals and love being around them, which brought me to Aloha. Learning each individual animal and their personality brings me so much joy. I am currently in school for the physical therapy assistant program. I enjoy spending time with friends, being outdoors and playing tennis. I love working for a great company with staff that makes it easy to enjoy work every day!

I am a senior at North Tama High School. I have always loved being around animals, which led me to wanting to work in a place that would allow me to work with and care for them. When I found Aloha, I knew it was a perfect fit! I absolutely adore working with all the dogs, whether it be in Fitness Club or Lodging shifts. It is so much fun learning each dog's personality!

I am a junior at the University of Northern Iowa studying Business Administration. I've been a huge animal lover ever since I was little. I grew up on a farm and had my own ducks and a cow. I've been in the pet care industry for a few years and came to Aloha after moving to the Cedar Valley. I absolutely love the environment at Aloha and all the furry friends that come with. I have been at Aloha for a couple months now, and I have loved every minute of it! I have always been a huge animal person and growing up with dogs really made it easy for me to fall in love with Aloha! I am originally from a small town in Illinois and will be starting nursing school in the fall! If I'm not at Aloha, you can find me at home studying or spending time with friends. I can't wait to get to know all of you and your beautiful pets!

I am currently a junior in high school and I have two fur babies at home: Oliver and Piper! I also have a sister and three brothers and currently live in Waterloo with my father and brother. Outside of Aloha, you can find me traveling with family, hanging out with friends, studying, and playing with my dog, Oliver. I came to Aloha because my sister, Sierra, is the Fitness Club Supervisor, and she always talks highly of Aloha. I also have a love for animals, so when looking for new jobs, I thought there would be no better place than Aloha! At Aloha, you can find me in lodging, taking care of boarding pets, and taking care of your fur babies out in Fitness Club!

I graduated in Veterinary Assisting at Hawkeye Community College. I enjoy horse-back riding in my free time and love all animals. I also have a dog named Ellie! In the future, I hope to work more with horses and dogs. Aloha has given me a chance to love dogs even more, and learn more about them no matter the breed!

I have been an animal lover my whole life which made it easy to love working here. I am currently working on my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Northern Iowa. When I’m not at Aloha or in class, I am at home spending time with my cat Murphy and my ferrets Tito and Pablo!

I am a Junior in high school set to graduate in 2025. I have been on my school's robotics team for around 5 years and have loved every second. When I’m not building robots, I enjoy traveling all over the country with my family and goofing around with my friends. I have many pets including a lizard named Spots, two guinea pigs named Fluffy and PJ, and two dogs named Cooper and Nova. I have been around animals my entire life and I love that I now get to meet new dogs every day at work!
