  • My pup Tinsly has been utilizing many of the services at Aloha and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. She has received a few grooms and baths from Joy which have been great. She has also participated in fetch club and day academy training with Sarah. I have a completely different pup after her training. Going in she was pretty shy, timid and full of energy. Afterwards her impulse control, listening and demeanor are significantly improved. My overall experience has been wonderful and I look forward to many days of fitness club. Everyone is so friendly and I know they take great care of all the dogs. I also enjoy checking the Snapchat each day to see how much fun they have.

  • This is the best boarding experience we've ever had! We loved seeing how happy and loved-on our dogs were on Snapchat, as well as checking in on them at night through the camera in their room. The staff was very helpful, had excellent communication, and most importantly were dog-lovers!

  • This was our first visit to Aloha for grooming. Very attentive, caring staff. Joy (I think that was her name) was soft spoken and gentle to our schnauzer. Great grooming! Made another appointment for next grooming before we left!! Satisfied customer!!

  • I cannot sing enough praises for Aloha! They are always so wonderful, and I know my fur babies are well cared for! Such easy drop off and pick up, and they are always so happy to see my dogs. My dogs have been groomed and boarded for short and long term there, and every service is A+++++! We are so lucky to have Aloha in the area!

Aloha Pet Resort and Spa was created because I saw a need for high-quality care and luxury accommodations for pets. As a Veterinary Technician with over 35 years of experience in the pet industry, I have witnessed many changes in how people care for their pets. Today, pet owners want their animals to be happy, healthy, and well-groomed. I believe our pets deserve the best, and I am dedicated to providing that level of service at Aloha Pet Resort and Spa. I look forward to meeting your furry family member!

Having witnessed Aloha’s journey from its early concept to the stunning resort it is today, I am proud to be part of this incredible place. You might find me at the forefront of Aloha’s operations, assisting guests directly, or working behind the scenes. My passion lies in helping both people and animals thrive, and it’s been a fulfilling experience to bring that passion to Aloha.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand View University and have had the privilege of working in both Emergency Medicine and Oncology. With a wealth of experience in healthcare, I recently returned to the Cedar Valley to take on the role of managing Aloha Pet Resort and Spa, a position that brings me immense joy every day.

When I’m not at work, you can find me spending time with my beloved fur baby, enjoying a round of golf, or diving into a good book.

At Aloha, you'll hear me answering the phones, responding to emails, running reports - you name it and I have likely done it (just don't ask me how to groom haha)! It is my mission to make every experience an exemplary one. I see the passion our clients have with their furry friends and strive to make sure their lodging vacation, fitness club, and/or spaw day with is truly is an amazing experience. When not at Aloha, I am exploring new trails and parks with my dog, Archie, cuddling with my cat, Greta, and spending time with friends and family.

At Aloha you can find me up front greeting you and your furry friend, running around in fitness club, and everything in between! I came to Aloha just looking for change and always having a love for animals I felt I would really enjoy it and I have loved every moment since. I will be attending school next spring with a double major in Botany and Business with aspirations of owning my own business someday. When I’m not at Aloha you can find me outside enjoying the world and spending time with my dogs and family. I love being a part of a company that values not only its customers but every single employee they have. Everyday I get to come into work just brings me so much joy!

I’ve always been an animal person since I was a kid. I used to volunteer at the local shelter, always asked my parents for new pets and the zoo was always my number one pick when we went on vacation! I knew I always wanted to work with animals but never knew what the right path for me was. Grooming stood out to me while going to school at Kirkwood Community College. I switched my career to grooming and have been doing it since. I love dogs, they have always been my favorite animals. I have my own dog named Nimbus. He's a 3-year-old Shiba Inu. He definitely keeps me on my toes. I also have a cat named Minx who is the sweetest girl ever. I’m married to my high school sweetheart Mekhi, who I married in June of 2023. I’m so happy I chose Aloha to be my work home. The staff makes you feel so welcome, you can tell we all love the dogs that come in.

I have worked with pets and their parents for almost four years. I have always had an interest in the upkeep of pets before I understood grooming was a career. I remember being six years old and unsuccessfully trying to cut my family's chihuahua's nails with human nail clippers! Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I am passionate about communicating with every pet parent to keep their furry friend as happy as possible. I cannot wait to get to know your pet and provide quality care!

Working with dogs is my passion, and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else! When I moved to the Cedar Valley in 2016, and found grooming, it was like a dream come true. To be able to combine my love of dogs with my passion for creative hairstyling is so incredibly rewarding. I especially live for the puppies! I love being able to watch them grow and grow with them. I am so excited to meet you & your pup, and create a long-lasting relationship with your fur baby!

At Aloha you can find me lodging, out in Fetch Club, or out at Fitness Club! I started working at Aloha because I absolutely love dogs, when looking for jobs, this felt like the right choice. I have loved learning all the silly personalities of the fur babies that come in! I’m currently at University of Northern Iowa working towards my Bachelor’s in English! When I’m not at Aloha, you can find me reading, studying, watching movies, or hanging out with friends and family!

At Aloha, you can find me in a handful of areas! If I'm not helping you at the desk book lodging reservations, grooming appointments, or helping you answer any questions you may have, you can find me either in fitness club wearing your pups out or in the back making sure your furry friends are living their best boarding vacation! Outside of Aloha, I enjoy spending time with my own four legged companion, Maggie, as well as reading, hiking, or traveling to the nearest renaissance faire I can find! I love working at Aloha because I cherish the connections I make with each animal and their parents I meet, as well as adore the community that thrives within the walls!

I am currently a Sophomore at Cedar Falls High School. I have always had a passion for animals, especially dogs. I dog sit for all the neighbors and I am always playing with the dogs across the street. So when I learned about Aloha, I knew I needed join the team! I am currently a lodging attendant and a fitness club leader! Aloha has given me a chance to show how much I love dogs and other animals! When I am not at work, I love running, working out, hanging out with friends and family, and playing with the neighbor dogs, Ace and Rudy, which I call my own! I love working at Aloha because I get to see all different kinds of dogs that come, and I love all the joy and happiness that working at Aloha gives me!

At Aloha you can find me spending time in our large group Fitness Club, or our smaller, enrichment-based Fetch Club. Outside of Aloha, I currently attend the University of Northern Iowa studying to become a nurse! When I am not at work, I love traveling and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to spending time with your furry friends!

At Aloha, you can find me in Fetch Club or Fitness Club, as well as lodging! I love being able to spend time with your furry friends, and getting to know each and every personality! I started working at Aloha because I absolutely adore dogs, and love taking care of them! I am currently an Art Education major at the University of Northern Iowa, and my goal is to become and Elementary Art Teacher then maybe later in life an Art Therapist! When I am not at Aloha, I am usually found doing art, reading a book, watching movies, playing games with friends, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or baking goodies! If I travel to my hometown, you'll find me  hanging out with my beloved family dog, Bucky!
